Basepaws Product and Pricing Updates

Hello members and friends of Basepaws, please read below an open letter from our founder and CEO Anna Skaya, regarding important product and pricing updates starting on November 1st, 2019:

"Dear Basepaws Family,

I'm Anna Skaya, the founder and CEO of Basepaws. I want to personally thank you for playing such an important role in improving the health and lives of cats everywhere. Thanks to your support, we have grown exponentially over the past years, and I'm writing today with several improvements to our Basepaws Cat DNA Report, as well as important changes to our pricing structure.

Starting on November 1, 2019, we are increasing the price of our CatKit from $99 to $129 per kit. This adjustment - our first since 2017 - is a necessary step toward improving and widening our product offering. The new price will allow us to dig deeper into both breed and health research (such as diabetes and HCM), and ultimately deliver a better experience to you by adding more health markers and increasing the accuracy of the report.

All of us at Basepaws are truly grateful for your support, and for helping us create a trustworthy community of cat lovers across the world. All of the new efforts described here will help us deliver new, and possibly life-changing, information about your cats, and we are here to support you with any questions, concerns, or cat-related problems you may have.

We deeply care about all our customers and early adopters. This is why everyone who purchased a CatKit before November 1st, 2019 will continue receiving lifetime breed report updates for free. As an additional benefit,  if you wish to get another Basepaws Cat DNA Test this year, I promise we will match your price so you may purchase the second CatKit at the price of your first one. Just drop us a note at meow@basepaws.com with your previous order information and we will make it happen.

You can get in touch with me personally, and anyone on our amazing Basepaws Team. Here's my email: ceo@basepaws.com – feel free to drop me a note, anytime.

Thank you for your support and look for more feline-first science and products coming your way soon from Basepaws."

Anna Skaya, CEO & Founder @ Basepaws
